Present: Dennis S. Frank K. Carrie B. Laurie G. Stacy J. Larry B. Marcia S. Tam H. Rhonda A.

Marcia called the meeting to order and reviewed the min. from Nov. No meeting in Dec. due to Christmas party. Motion by Laurie to except 2nd by Frank. Motion carried.

Tam tres. report: Cory Days $1228.00, Security State Bank $50.00.

Old Bus.: Nice job on the Christmas party. About 80 came and Pete did a great job on the slide show. Cost was about $300.00.

Refresher: Dates need to be sent to Cindy ASAP. Laurie took a vote and will contact the others not present via e-mail. Result will get to Marcia as soon as Laurie gets all data collected.

Training date: to be set sometime after 1/18/09. Tentative date Mon. 1/19/09, 6:00 p.m.

4-Wheeler: Chains are on the trailer. Skids are in the ambulance hall.

Marcia presented New Bus.: Marcia presented a couple short term goals for the up-coming. 1) get protocols completed 2) We did not get the FEMA grant last year. Frank made a motion to rewrite a new FEMA grant for 2009. Laurie 2nd the grant writing. Motion carried.

A lady from Iron River (living and working) asked if we would pay for her EMT class. Discussion followed. No vote on paying for some one not living or working in the South Shore District.

George L. is interested in becoming a driver for the ambulance. (Needs to be clear that they only response to a page for a driver.)

Turn on the heater in the back of the ambulance when you leave the hall.

Fire dept. has a truck to hall the 4-wheeler. They are waiting on getting the truck wired for the trailer.

HOT SHEETS: Homeland Security grants are available if anyone is interested in writing them.

WARDS: Marcia reviewed notes from Doc. We need to get better at reporting. Make sure you get all the ABC's, SOG, vitals (lung sound and resp.), O2 stats., race, gender, and chief complaint. Reviewed runs

Laurie stated there is an Ambulance Board meeting later this month. Laurie requested any input. Discussion followed about plowing and who to call in the town.
