Present: Dennis S. Frank K. Carrie B. Tam H. Rhonda A. Gayle G. Laurie G. Stacy J.

6:30 p.m. Flu shots and TB tests done via Bayfield Co.

Carrie called the meeting to order after the shots.

Minutes were read by Rhonda. Gayle made the motion and 2nd by Laurie motion carried.

Tam reported on Bayfield EMS Council dinner. Millie from Bayfield Co. was present and introduced to the group. A speaker from Madison came to talk to the group. Elections were made with all of the officers remaining the same.

Laurie made a motion to have a Christmas party at the Dec. meeting at the Village Inn in Cornucopia to be paid for by the group. 2nd by Dennis. Motion carried. Spouses welcome. No gifts. Rhonda and Marcia will call and set the dinner.

Carrie asked for folks to be part of a committee to work together on the protocols for our service. Discussion followed about the EMS Council protocols. It was brought that maybe we need to make our own amendments to things that are not part of the state curriculum like C-cap.

Rhonda asked about the reasoning behind the ambulance checks. Discussion followed. Other options were reviewed. No decision was made but it will be addressed at the next meeting.

Jan. 4 will start the Refresher from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Herbster Ambulance Hall Dates are on both Monday and Tuesdays Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25, Feb. 2,9,18 23.

Laurie asked if we should be more aware of Iron River being paged out. Iron River has been good about listening for us when we are paged out. All agreed.

Rhonda passed out the 2009 Infectious Disease Exposure Control Plan. Things were tabled due to technical difficulties with the power point. Discussion followed with the possibilities of putting the power point on the Bayfield County EMS web site.

Gayle made a Motion to adjourn Rhonda 2nd
