Frank: 1) Talked about getting base line information on firefighters. Discussion followed. (Will review HIPPA issues of having firefighter information on file in the ambulance in a lock box).

2) Fish boil asked if we would be interested in putting up a first aid tent. Discussion followed.

Marcia: Talked to the school about having the ambulance at the school for EMS week. (Date to be announced) Marcia will look into give-a-ways for the students.

Pete: Reported on changes in WARDS via the web. Reviewed past runs for the year. Discussion followed.

Laurie: 1) Talked about a fund raiser out of Eagle River, WI from a radio station called Sounds-of-Sirens raffle. Laurie will order 1000 tickets. 2) Laurie has taken training, but needs 1 more then will be able to run eye test machine through the Lions Club Class for eye tests 3) Laurie sent for 50 Files-of-Life to be given away at the Smelt Fry: 3-7 pm on April 17. 4) Laurie reviewed HIPPA forms. PLEASE have the patient, their representative, or hospital staff sign the form. If the patient refuses to sign the paper work PLEASE follow the checked boxes. Have the forms signed even if they are dead.

Pete: 1) Reviewed the need to buy new pagers due to the narrow band change over at $395.00/pager. Frank motion to buy new pagers with the state money. 2nd by Carrie. Motion carried. Pete will buy the pagers when they go on sale next month at a $40.00 discount /pager. 2) On top of the desk in the ambulance hall are new letter boxes for the officers. Officers Please check them for bills or notes. 3) The bill for the stethoscopes is in. To be paid for from the EMT account.

Train the Trainer: Pete, Tam, and Rhonda went to Iron River for train-the-trainer training for spinal cord immobilization {now changed to Spinal Motion Restriction (SMR)}. The group reviewed the power point presentation from Dr. Wesley. Pete will have hand- outs at the next meeting.
