Treasurer's Report: No Report

Gayle talked about the Ambulance Fund paying for pants and or shirts. Discussion followed.

BAC-EMS Meeting: Tam & Cindy L. Reported that Jon Schultz is the sole Doctor for the BAC-EMS. Marcy from CEP Inc. reported on the recruitment efforts.

Old Business: Gayle reported on Field Bridge/Leaders Documentation. Discussion followed. Things need to be in a timely manner. Bottom line practice, practice, practice for legal reasons and billing reasons. Remember O2 is a med. Look at all the drop downs. Get signatures before leaving the hospital. Get narrative in ASAP.

Discussion on radio issues and pagers. If you have problems with batteries or chargers let Gayle know. She will be ordering new batteries and charges with what the budget allows.

Discussion on what happens when our rig is out on another call and a SSA-EMT responded to the call as a 1st responder. Fill out an old ambulance report for now. Keep a copy in your EMT bag. We will look into carbonless paper for reports.

New Business: Discussion on upcoming events. Driver needed for Corny Day parade Saturday, Aug. 11. Frank and Laurie will work out the details. Fish Boil first week-end in September rig is needed in Port Wing. Discussion on times, dates, and coverage.

Bad Weather call, calls to blow downs, floods, etc. Respond to the call. Radio the fire department IC. IC will tell the ambulance to stand-by (this could be at the hall) or on scene.

Concussion Law: EMT's are not allowed to sign off a student or child. EMT's are not medically trained to this.

Gayle reported on the upcoming students for the Basic EMT class in Ashland. Larry reported that 1 or 2 new people are moving to Herbster that have been EMT's in the past.

Gayle brought up Discussion followed on By-laws: Frank made a motion for Gayle, Cindy, and Sheryl to be part of a committee to review the By-Laws. 2nd by Dennis. Motion carried.

Discussion followed on payment for new EMT's.

Motion by Stacy, seconded by Joanie - The town will pay for the WITC EMT Basic tuition and books up front. Student will pay for the written test and practical. Once the student successfully completes the course, and submits a copy of their Wisconsin State EMT license the Town of Clover will pay a $200.00 transportation stipend and reimburse the student for testing costs. Motion Carried

Motion by Joanie, second by Dennis. A contract will be signed to release the progress reports to the service. A one year contract will be signed with the town of Clover for the South Shore Ambulance service. A South Shore EMT/Mentor will be available for each student. A completion contract will be signed with the Town of Clover that if student does not complete the EMT Basic class the student will reimburse the Town of Clover for the tuition and books. Motion Carried

Gun case was put in the ambulance. The Ambulance Organization Committee will find a safe place for the case.
