Present: Patti, Laurie, Dennis, Frank, Joanie, Tom, Travis, Gus, Guy, Tam, Gayle
EMR: Larry F, Larry B, Linda, Paul

Gayle called the meeting to order. Tam handed out in house training certificates for Tourniquets.

Motion to approve the meeting minutes by Patti, 2nd by Guy motion carried.

Gayle reported on the BAC meeting. Gayle will contact R-Tac (Dan Diamon) for training in June. New ambulance bay at MMC is on hold due to the planning of a new cancer center. Reviewed updated Policies/Protocols. Protocols are on the ambulance computer. New copies will be printed.

Gayle reviewed file set up for all the EMT’s paper work.

Gayle reviewed emergency vehicle operations protocols. Discussion followed. Ambulance driving training will be completed in-house. All EMT’s and fire fighters will need to have some emergency vehicle operations training. Dates will be set-up at a later date. Frank will be setting up a driver training. Laurie will set up training for the fire fighters for HIPPA training and orientation on the same night as driver training.

Thank you to all of the people that helped at the Smelt Fry.

South Shore Area Ambulance policies need to be revised. Committee includes: Patti, Gayle, Marcia?, Joanie? Any others interested see Gayle.

See the BAC web site for the Dr. Corner on back-boarding. Discussion followed.

Computer needs to be updated. Discussion followed. Gus, Guy, Patti will be the computer committee.

Stretcher battery was dead again. There is an override if the battery is dead. Discussion followed. Guy will look into stretcher batteries: how old the ones we have are and cost of new.

Frank reported the front door has been left open several times. All reminded to make sure the door gets closed all the way when leaving. The hinges are worn, but door does shut if pushed. Gayle will contact the town about getting the door fixed. In the mean time double check the door when you leave.

Laurie reviewed the incentive for the 1st half. Get any corrections to her right away. All were reminded to get their ambulance checks done as there should be no more than 1 done per week.

Paul reported that the wheels will be put on the sled this Wednesday.

Run review: No calls in April. 1 call over the week-end with another call cancelled.
