Gayle reported on May BAC meeting: Stroke can be set to MMC as they know have “the shot.” Tam reported on June BAC meeting: MMC is looking at putting in a pull through for the ambulance bay. Washburn will be doing an EMT refresher this year. Check with Cindy L or Dan C. on the dates. Laurie will let Stacy and Emily know.

Town of Clover: Bev reported on LOSA management. TOC changed carriers to Massachusetts Mutual. There should be a seamless transition. Reports were handed to each EMT.

Gayle reported that people are not able to hear each other on calls. We are all to try and let dispatch know what’s going on or try to pass messages on when we notice other EMTs are unable to communicate.

Communications: Start a leaders report once you get in the ambulance. It must be “posited” to transfer to LEADERS. Get your documents in on time. With in 24 hour is ideal. One week at the longest.

Computer committee: Plan is to buy a new updated software (Windows 7).

Batteries are needed for the cot. Discussion followed on the cost of batteries and/or new cot. Buy 3 new batteries for the cot at approximately $85 each.

Gayle Reported on e-mail: Detour in Duluth on 10th Ave. for St. Luke’s Hospital. Follow detour signs.
