March meetings minutes Motion to approve by Joan, 2^nd Carrie approved with amendment that no letter was sent to the town.

Old Bus.

Review/discussion; Agreement between the Town of Clover and the South Shore Ambulance, Inc.  To be approved by the town. Frank motion to approve  agreement Joan 2^nd  Motion carried.

Cell phone contract in ambulance is being worked on by Doug Casina. (amended in May to read Frank Koehn)

Frank reported on grant meeting changes and updates.

Reviewed on-line call system, Message board, calendar, etc…

Reviewed/discussion; Buy backs possibilities reviewed by Laurie.  Will buy back 3 years at $100.00 for each year for the next 4 years. Payed by each EMT. This will bring some of the older EMT’s/Firefighters at 20 years.  Money will be returned to the EMT’s/Firefighters at age 60.

New Bus.

Marcia: 1.requested Rob, Rhonda, and Frank to take HIPPA training.  Laurie has forms to fill out & filed when completed.           

            2. Someone was on call for us and went to a call for another service. Discussion on discipline policy.  Discussion on operation guide lines. Laurie made motion not to pay the on call for us.  2^nd by Frank.  Motion carried.

            3. Review/Discussion; Drivers policy for Fire fighters / non-EMT’s. The intent of this policy is to provide a safe and secure transport.  Policy is needed for insurance. A copy of the persons drivers lic. and background check needed by the town for insurance reasons. Drivers must fill out application, go through an orientation and check off before driving the ambulance. Motion by Laurie. 2^nd by Carrie. Motion carried.

4. Review/Discussion; Quality Improvement Referral the purpose of this referral is to review and evaluate the quality and efficiency of the EMT/Driver/1st Responder in a response to a call.

Frank:  1. Reported on Photo ID’s.  Emergency Gov. will come out and take photos of EMT’s / Fire fighters / Drivers

            2. 1^st responders should be coming to our ambulance meetings.  Maybe we need to review who the 1^st responders respond under ie… the fire dept. or ambulance.  An open invite

to the meetings will be extended to the 1^st responders to come to the ambulance meetings.  Marcia will send an e-mail to invite them.  Discussion on where does the incentive money come from for non-fire fighter 1^st responders.
