New Business: Ambulance had work on the transmission. It is up and running. A page was to be made that the ambulance was out of service. Brief discussion on getting a new ambulance. The 4-wheeler is up and running. The switch was on. Budget review: Discussion on ambulance pay for drugs. Discussion on supplies. If you see we need anything write it down on the white board. Marcia reported on new radio purchases. Marcia discussion on personal protection gear/cloths. Marcia reviewed incentive and retirement. Budget committee looked at review of officers pay. Discussion followed and Laurie made a motion to raise the pres. Pay to $750.00 and the equipment officer raised to $400.00 2nd by Gayle. Mot. carried. Discussion on retirement .Laurie reported that the weekly check off sheets will be on the web site. Marcia reviewed what the service will pay for. Discussion on new EMT requirements. Workmans comp will require a note from your Dr. in order to come back as an EMT. Discussion on guide lines on what is an injury and when it is OK to go on a run. Frank talked about ped training. Marcia reported on directors meeting. A survey was sent out for directors. The EMS council dinner will be at the Port Bar in Port Wing on 9/27/07. Menus were passed out. Discussion on the service paying for the EMS dinner. Carrie made a motion to have the service pay for the dinner. 2nd by Gayle. Motion carried. Radio Review: Jan V. reviewed the new radios. New radios were handed out. New radio serial numbers were recorded. Pager numbers were recorded. Old radios need to be at the hall no later than Saturday 9/15 for reprogramming. Marcia brought up the need for a zip up hooded sweatshirts. Marcia will look into prices. Frank requested the FEMA money for new batteries. Marcia will look into prices.
