Meeting minutes from 4/4/11.

Members present: Stacy J., Cindy L., Laurie G.,Larry B.,Dennis S., Marcia S., Rhonda A., Gayle G. and Judy Rosenwinkle.

At 6:30 pm meeting called to order by Stacy , 2nd by Marcia.

No Treasurer report

No BAC  report

Larry gave an update on training at Meyers Beach.

Training went well and it gave all the participates time to look at other department's equipment.

OLD BUSINESS:

Ambulance Search:

Lengthy discussion on the search for the new ambulance.

Judy stated that the town would need to proposal for the annual meeting next week.

After much discussion suggested that we all send our thoughts to Pete by the 9th and he would put together ideas.

No discussion has to be made immediately , just submitting the proposal to the town.

Laurie will send out a note to all so the members not present would also be able to voice their opinions.

Discussion on what to do with the old ambulance put on hold, will need to find out if it will be part of a trade in.

EMS WEEK May 6th

We have the whole morning to work with the school.

Pete is checking on Life Link and Marcia will follow up with Jan.

Carrie and Gayle will set up with the high school, this will be the first time we have involved the high school.

Suggest we look at clip locks, water bottles and key chains for high school.

Marcia will look into this.

Further times and updates to  follow.

Switching of account:

Discussion on how the new ID number is coming,  Dennis was able to present an update on behalf of Tam who was home sick.

Accounts have been separated, wanting on new ID number.

Tam will supply the town with statements from 6/09  to 12/10  and an update statement as listed by our by laws.

Cindy L. talked about the 1-10 EMT Basic, you can read about this on dhf.wisconsin.gov/ems.

Talk about WARDS and update given.

New updated on Unknown Substance Policy and Protocol now available.

Talked about the presentation Pete made at the Rice Lake Conference on by laws.

SPRING CLEAN UP:

Discussed to  get the ambulance hall and ambulance cleaned before inspection.

April 18th 5:30 pm cleaning of the hall, may need to be done in several shifts.

May 5th 5:30 pm clean the ambulance, EMS Day at the school on the 6th.

Bikers will be in South Shore Area on the 12th of July.

Laurei asked for people to be available.
