Patti reported that Smelt Fry April 13 door prize money will go to radio replacement for EMTs. Discussion followed. All are to sign up for helping with Patti or Larry.

Tam reported on BAC-EMS. Cindy Lazorik also sent a summary letter. Tam expanded on Cindys letter. Mutual aid and charging for responding to calls outside your area, Alzheimers training at Mason Ambulance/Fire Hall on March 9 from 10:00am2:00pm with a potluck lunch, Rice Lake WITC conference 3/15-16, St. Lukes is going to a standard patient report where V=Vitals M=Mechanism of injury I = Illness T= Treatment. MDAC committee Doc. reported the Dr. would like us to let him know if we plan on buying new equipment that will need protocols written, Tam will look into getting a tourniquet trainer.

Tam: Treasurers report. No money came in this month. 5 EMTs went to area EMS Conferences. Bill for re-imbursement of EMS licensing was tabled.

Frank: In-house April 1 training meeting on meds will start at 6:00 p.m. Also will review AED at Old Gym June 3 training meeting on trauma care will start at 6:00. He will check on tourniquet training possible get template from Washburn.

Laurie reminded all to use the correct run template when starting a new report. Discussion on writing narratives. EVERYTHING done and seen should be included. Mention made that it will be a much larger expense now that call is possibly $1/hour and the EMRs are now able to sign up. Reminder that dispatch is the ONLY way we are called off of a run.
